Calif. considers honoring LGBTs in textbooks
The AP is reporting that California might pass legislation that would honor gays in textbooks. I also thought that this quote from Sen. Bill Morrow
If the state legislature gets this passed, wanna bet on whether the Governator will veto it?
[UPDATE: 15 May 06] Jen has posted a link to state Senator Kuehl's (the bill's sponsor) letter to the Los Angeles Times concerning their editorial on this bill, SB 1437.
"If you are a black American, you can't help it, you were born that way," he said. "There is not one scintilla of credible scientific evidence that suggests that homosexuality is biological in origin."was very interesting in light of the recent article on lesbians' brains.
