Michael Bains has a link on his Silly Humans blog to the Christian Alliance for Progress. Now, I know the knee-jerk reaction to seeing "Christian Alliance" in the name is one of "not ANOTHER group of zealots". But go check this out because the subtitle on Michael's link is "Fight Marriage Protection Sunday: Keep Hatred Out of Our Constitution".

'Tis truly a worthy cause for all who thrill to the mundane (for Americans and a few others) joy of being politically free.
It's a highly evolved culture that rationally calms its own reactionaries. Let's hope ours is ready and up to the challenge, this time.
