Yes, she's strange and different...but not THAT different.

Toy for big people

From Sci Fi TECH:
Canadian company Freeset has designed some interactive tabletops called Human Locators used in Las Vegas lounges that have just got to be seen. In videos available on Freeset's Web site, the tables are demo'd being manipulated by shadows. Follow: they work by having a projector shine a video image down onto the table, and when a hand moves through the beam, a motion sensor picks it up and manipulates the image in trippy ways — from creating ripples like a stone in a pond to a flame trail that follows your fingers. The quick response time makes it look incredible. But enough talk… go check the videos out.
I think one of these things with the bubbles (watch the video) would REALLY be fun to play with after a couple of vodka martinis or a six-pack.

    I wish that was my floor.

    Whoa! As long as I could turn it off!

    That might make the trip to the coffeepot much too exciting for me first thing in the morning. {-;

    It'd make an excellent wall hanging too. Better than a Plasma TV.

    Want one! That's so cool. Be nice as a ceiling, or walls, or floor, too...

    Plasma TVs frankly don't have good enough picture quality for walls. Our LCD one would look great but as we live in a rented house, we can't go digging out the walls to install it so free-standing it must stay for now... x
