1999 war game predicted problems in Iraq

An AP article up on MSNBC is headlined 1999 war game predicted problems in Iraq.
The U.S. government conducted a series of secret war games in 1999 that anticipated an invasion of Iraq would require 400,000 troops, and even then chaos might ensue.
Do you think GWB (Great White Bozo) knew about this? Betcha Rumsfeld and Cheney did.

    Ohhh, they knew.

Problem is that only Rover (aka Turdblossom) would've paid any attention to the actual troop requirements. You know, just in case Rummy's estimates were right and he could use the info to show how the Clinton Admin had exaggerated the difficulty of the undertaking...

    BTW, thanks for the 'toonage!

They must have known but the motivation was so strong to invade - to protect US future interests as energy supplies dwindle by being able to manipulate those holding the oil - that they went ahead anyway. x
