China bans push-up bra ads
MSNBC is reporting that in advance of the 17th Communist Party Congress in Beijing, the Chinese government has banned "saucy" television ads featuring push-up bras and form-fitting underwear. (I wonder if ads for loose underwear are OK.) Previously prohibited were reality shows featuring plastic surgery or sex changes, advertisements with "sexually provocative sounds" (sheep?) and "low-brow and base" commercials for sex toys. (Which leads me to also wonder if well-done high-brow ads for sex toys are OK.) Wow. I'm glad I live in a country where we have freedom of speech and broadcasting.

Yes, because banning lingerie is so much more important than making sure they don't export toxic food to children's toys. Ugh. Priorities people! Where are they?

I'm going to move to China and write classy sex toy commercials.

At last!
With this ban on sexy undergarment ads, I might finally gain some market share for my struggling lines of burlap skivvies, "Intimate Irritants."
Don't be left out, get on the waiting list now.
