Look, I don't care if you're a man or a woman or a gerbil. If you play dress-up all day, you need to grow up. Being a woman isn't about putting on makeup and feeling pretty, for cripes sake.

That was a heartbreaking film for a million reasons.

To be trapped like that and have no one but others like you who "get it" must be a very challenging life.

The most powerful thing about this film was when he says that it might be a gift to be born that way. That is a spiritual person who is searching for answers. And so yes, he is closer to God than so many others, who never have to question who they are and why they are here.

If you long to be a woman, it is ALL about the makeup and feeling pretty. But I'm not sure straight men will ever get that.

Thank you for sharing this. And thank you to Michael for creating it. And Suzy noted the part that struck me - when he talked about this all as a gift.
