After yammering for weeks about how the expiration of the current modification to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act will cripple our ability to stop terrorism, now that it looks like a new extension is headed for his desk, Duhbya has said that he will veto it - because it apparently won't offer immunity for the telecommunications industry for past "indiscretions" with the law. Excuse me? Which is it? If we don't have the extension it's bad, but if we DO have an extension, it's not good? Ummm...could you run that by me again?
