Why am I not surprised?

From an article at Wired:
Major elements of the Bush administration's proposed $17 billion "cyber security" initiative have little to do with protecting government networks, and a lot to do with spying, according to a budget report released by the Senate Armed Services Committee this week.
And that "spying"? That's on Americans, BTW.
... the highly classified proposal could have far-ranging implications for the internet generally, especially as the government contemplates becoming the firewall for all Americans on the net.
Please, just let it all be over. However long it says over there→ in the sidebar on my main page until Duhbya is gone ... it's too long.

    The thing that's really scary is I feel like he's on a race to do as much damage as possible until January 20th.
