DSM-5 Problems

The fifth edition of the American Psychiatric Association's (APA) Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) is due to be published in 2013 and the proposed version is now available for review. IFGE warned about some proposed changes almost a year ago, but apparently no one at the APA was listening. Now there are serious problems for transgender folks with one section of the DSM-5.
